I live to paint. The energy behind my work is relentless. It drives me to push into new frontiers every time I pick up a new canvas. The image selection, medium used, process and paint strokes are all influenced by the day to day challenges life throws up to me. These moments can speed me into the unknown, dramatically influencing the end result of my painting, capturing a moment in time, shaped by enthusiasm, reflection or depression. After the energy is expelled onto the canvas, it will be brutally cast aside .........to the highest bidder

For those who are willing to delve deeper, my art is a mixture of Realism and Naïve. Each painting will reside within a series. I am determined not to be categorised for a particular image so I can explore new horizons and not be punished for the pursuit of intriguing subjects. Each series will challenge and explore the subject , sometimes offering a view which may confront the general consensus. It will be passionate, complex, driven by pure energy.
